1862 (Nov 11): Envelope from Loudeac to St. Brieuc, bearing a combination franking of Napoléon imperf. 20 c. blue type II and Napoléon perf. 20 c. light-blue, two examples and a pair, respectively, fine adhesives with vivid colour, good to large margins and perforation, respectively, each adhesive cancelled / tied by Petits Chiffres '1769' lozenge, matching despatch cds alongside. Reverse with arrival cds of the next day. A most attractive combination of same denomination and similar colour from two different issues to pay the 80 c. triple rate. Signed Calves & Goebel.
