Bulgaria, Consular P.O. in Ruschuk 1867c (May 19): Cover from Ruschuk to Vienna, bearing 1864 Arms 15 s. brown perf. 9½, a fresh and fine single example, tied by superb RUSTSCHUK cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 877). Reverse with octagonal 'Schnallenstempel'-type WIEN arrival (May 21) datestamp. A most appealing cover, signed Ferchenbauer. rnNote: Cover undated but it was despatched after October 1866 when the Levant rate was reduced to 15 soldi.
