Danube Steam Navigation Co in Romania: 1866 17 kr. scarlet, perf. 12-12½, a used example on April 1867 cover from Giurgevo to Turnu Severin, tied by crisp octagonally framed "GIURGEVO 25 / IV" cds in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 797), another GIURGEVO despatch cds of the consular post office in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 748) alongside. Light horizontal file folds, an appealing and interesting item with the combination of the datestamps from both Austrian post offices in Giurgevo, the cover was obviously first given to the consular office, then forwarded to the DDSG.
