Crete, Austrian Lloyd Agency in Candia 1872c (Sept 2): Cover from Rethymno to Piraeus, Greece bearing 1867 coarse whiskers 10 s. blue, neatly tied by RETTIMO datestamp (Tchilinghirian fig. 549) in black. Charged on arrival with Large Hermes 20 lepta blue tied by indistinct arrival cds. Vertical file fold well away from the adhesives, still a beautiful cover. Cert. Holcombe (1981).
