1845 (April): Correpondence Receipts from the Post Office at Lima in April 1845, totalling 3076½ pesos, with 15 manuscript filled printed forms detailing Government parcels and mail to Lima with "LIMA" handstamp in black (Colareta fig. 19) at the top of nine of the forms, documenting mail received from Cuzco, Pasco, Valles and by Sea. A fascinating insight into the workings of the official mail service.
