Niger Company Territories / Akassa 1894: Great Britain 1887 Jubilee 2½ d. purple on blue, a single example on 1894 cover to Sierra Leone, uncancelled, with oval framed "AGENT GENERAL / NIGER TERRITORIES" cachet in violet (Oct 3, earliest recorded use) and reverse with oval framed "THE ROYAL NIGER COMPANY CHARTERED & LIMITED / POST OFFICE / AKASSA" despatch (Sacher Type 3, SG Type 2) in violet (Oct 3). The obverse with three strikes of 'Freetown / Sierra Leone' arrivals (Oct 22).
