Niger Company Territories / Akassa 1890: Great Britain 1887 Jubilee 6 d. deep purple on red, a single example used on 1890 cover to Southport, struck with fine oval "THE NIGER TERRITORIES / POST OFFICE / AKASSA" despatch (Sacher Type 2, SG Type 1) in violet (Sept 29); the adhesive tied on arrival by Liverpool "466" oblöiterator with "PAID / LIVERPOOL / BR. PACKET" datestamp (Nov 2) alongside in red. Reverse with Southport arrival cds in black of the following day.
