Lithographic Transfer by Waterlow 1853: First Stone 4 c. deep blue, a used example with good to large margins all round but peripheral aging, used on 1857 cover to London endorsed at top on despatch "Paid 4 Cents / Bush Lot" and struck underneath the stamp with "BG / A4C" datestamp in black of Henrietta, Arabian Coast; the adhesive tied in transit by "Demerara" double arc datestamp (Feb 24) in black. Manuscript charge '6' (pence) for onward transmission and reverse with further fine strike of the "BG / A4C" datestamp (Feb 21) and "Demerara" double arc cds. Closed cover tear at top but a cover of great scarcity.
