1776/1976: Two volume collection of Newspaper Stamps with early Crown oval framed 1 d. types in red on pieces of Newspapers, 1780's ½ d. impressions struck in red with imprinted numbers below and a study of the re-cuts, early 1800's banners (4) from the Corwall Gazette, many 1 d. Dies in red with Newspapers indicated at left these displayed alphabetically, 1856 'Book Post' cover franked by 2 d. blue tied by Manchester sideways duplex, range of off cover Line Engraved and Surface Printed with Newspaper Branch cancellations and covers from 1870 bantam ½ d. onwards, Foreign Branch usages, study of the triangular lettered handstamps largely on Printed Matter, postal stationery and pieces abound; re-mounting this collection could prove beneficial and interesting.
