1863/1970: Collection of 140 postal history items of the Levant/North Africa and Middle East with a good mix of earlier and modern. The early begin with an 1863 letter from Alexandria (Austrian Office) to Vienna. The are further Austrian offices including "TRAPEZUNT", "ALEXANDRETTE" and "CONSTANTINOPOLI LLOYD". French offices such as "PORT-SAID" and other are  included, as well as a Palestine Telegram from "MOUNT CARMEL". Further covers include Iraq and Iran as well as Turkey. In addtion the lot contains a batch of stamps from the afore mentioned countries.
