1906: 2 c. red-brown and 5 c. dull purple in a horizontal pair, used on 10 c. pink overprinted registration envelope (150 x 95 mm.) addressed to Yatiyantota, Ceylon tied by MALDIVE ISLANDS circular datestamps (June 1, 1907) in black; endorsed at lower left "From P.M. (Post Master) Maldive Islands". Reverse with 'Colombo / Registered' cds of transit (June 6) and Yatiyantota arrival of the following day. The cover sensibly opened for display, scarce and attractive.
