1892: 10 d. carmine, a single example in a bright shade, used on 1893 cover to Timaru, New Zealand cancelled by "Cook Islands / P.O. / Rarotonga" handstamp in violet with information strike below. "Rarotonga" cds at left (July 7) in black. Reverse with Auckland (June 16), Wellington and Tamaru datestamps in black. An attractive in-period usage.
