1844 entire letter bearing 1841 1d red, tied by a fine strike of the distinctive Kilmarnock Maltese Cross with dot in centre, the reverse with a wafer seal 'I will be with him in trouble' cover dated 29th Feb 1844, the stamp cut into on all sides, nevertheless a good example of this scarce Maltese Cross.
