San Marino 1968 - Full year - 17 pages of sixty and twenty-five stamps

Complete year set from 1968: 17 pages of stamps. 10 contain 60 stamps and the remaining 7 contain 25 stamps.

San Marino stamps are always highly sought after by connoisseurs. One of the best known series printed in the small enclave is certainly the one dedicated to the symbols of San Marino: its municipalities. Also present is the Penna Rossa (the San Marino football club) and the Montelupo park.

To finish the year, there are also stamps dedicated to the 'Battle of San Romano', a triptych by Paolo Uccello (1397-1475) and to the 'Mystical Nativity', painted by Sandro Botticelli (1444-1510), dated 1501.

Printed in 1968, many collectors aspire to get their hands on this colourful series. It's rather rare to find them, but even more difficult to find a series with sheets of 60 and 25 cents - especially complete ones!
