1885 Incoming,. 1885 (28 July) cover from Tokio to Peking. Addressed to Japanese Legation. Franked with 1883-92 Koban 1s + vertical pair of 2s stamps, cancelled by 6-bar oval, with Tokio cds alongside. Transit IJPA Shanghai (6 Aug), transferred to Customs Shanhgai (7 Aug) when a 3ca Large Dragon stamp was affixed to pay for domestic postage and cancelled by Shanghai seal cancel.
