Shanghai,. 1875 (7 Aug) Shanghai to Paris. Cover with CV crest (of C E Vapereau) on flap, tied by a clear strike of “CUSTOMS SHANGHAI” cds in red. French 2x 10c + 80c stamps tied by ‘5104’ diamond of dots with Shanghai 7 Aug cds alongside. Transit Marseille (28 Sep), to arrive Paris (29 Sep) then internally forwarded. This is the earliest of all Customs circular datestamp. 

上海寄巴黎, 蓋上海関日戳發出, 經上海法國郵局, 到巴黎後改寄, 本件是各海關小圓戳中最早的。
