1847. Stampless envelope to France written from Guayama (30 July 1847) with boxed 'Guayama' in red and adjacent 'Franco' hand-stamp in red, routed via the British Post Office with 'San Juan-Porto Rico' on reverse and boxed Anglo French accountancy 'Colonies & c Art 13' in red with London transit, taxed '15' on arrival in m/s with La Rochelle receiver on reverse. Superb, the only known boxed Guayama handstamp in red on a cover to France, and the earliest Guayama cover to France ever.
