1874 Registered cover from PROME to Calcutta franked on reverse by India QV 1a. and 2a. pair tied by Cooper Type 33 All India Experimental square handstamp of thick bars, with Prome despatch cds, rect. framed "REGISTERED/'Prome'/.../'18.8.74' h/s and in m/s, Rangoon transit dater as well as "STEAMER LETTER/G.P.O./CALCUTTA/AU.29" arrival cds alongside, fine. An interesting and scarce Burma postal history item.
