1893, "KHONE 16 SEPT 93" on stampless military mail cover endorsed "Corps Expeditionaire du Laos", on reverse with blue "Corps Tirralleiurs Annamites..." with handwritten endorsement of the Commandant "Hoch Khi Koang" (used during actual hostilities March 23-October 3) to France. Transits Pnom Penh, Saigon, "CORPS EXP. TONKIN LIGNE N. 6 23 SEPT 93", Saigon Centrale , french TPO and arrival "BESANCON 20 OCT 93". Khone was in Cambodia only in 1892-93. Envelope vertical bend and bottom crease. A most rare postmark.
