1870 Cover from Buenos Aires to Torino, Italy were it arrived without an adhesive (lost during carriage?), thus franked by Italian postage due stamp 1l. brown/blue vertical strip of four tied by "TORINO/4/GEN/71" cds, octagonal despatch dater "BUENOS-AYRES/30/(NOV?)/70" alongside, arrival postmarks on the reverse. Cover creased at left affecting top stamp, and bottom stamp with a corner perf fault at lower left, but still a good and unusual cover - scarce thus. Dr. H. Avi certificate (2004)
