1861/1872, Correspondence to VOLBORTH Family in St.Petersburg: lot of seven covers (four GB, two France and one Belgium) addressed to Dr.A.V. Volborth, Madame Emilie Volborth and Mr. Nicolas Volborth, some slight postal wear/imperfections as to be expected. The Volborth family originated from Germany and lived and worked in Russia. The mentioned Dr.Alexander Volborth (1800-1876) worked as palaeontologist and was eponym to the mineral volborthite.
