1932 DO-X letter from "Deutsche Flugschiff G.m.b.H., H. Royter, Correspondent, New York' dated 'June 17th, 1932' informing that 'Owing to a shortage of stamps in the ship's post office ... the mail clerk affixed a rubber stamp reading as follows: For letters "Affranchissment Percu Rm. 6.-" and for cards "Affranchissment Percu Rm. 4.-". This very scarce letter is companied by a printed DO X cover and a postcard with the respective rubber handstamps, both without adhesives, with circled "DORNIER FLUGSCHIFF D 1929" datestamps (19 Mai / 21 Mai), diamond cachet "AMERICA EUROPA FLUGSCHIFF DO-X" and Berlin arrival datestamps.
