1879/1886, interesting group of 6 stampless INSURED covers, sent from various places in Russia (St.Petersburg, Kirilov, Tomsk etc.) and each addressed to Jerusalem, resp. forwarded to Jaffa in Palestine. All covers bearing impressive wax-seals on reverse along with different transit postmarks, i.a. Volochysk together with austrian mail-exchange p.o. Podwoloczyska, Odessa and kyrillic ГРАНИЦА (frontier) datestamps. Very unusual and scarce mail to foreign destination!
