1856-66 Six covers/letters from Scotland, Ireland and England to the U.S.A., including 1856 letter from Forfar, Scotland to New York franked embossed 1847-54 1s. green (used with broken silk thread channel) and 2d. blue, single-weight covers with 1s. from Narin, Ireland, Glasgow and Oldham, double-weight cover from London and cover from the Scottish Blairgowrie to Missouri. In addition an US inland cover used in Philadelphia by "Blood's Penny Post" (small Blood's stamp cancelled by acid, Blood's 1857 datestamp and with Washington 3c. definitive).
