1944, INTERCEPTED MAIL, 20 öre red and 2 x 40 öre olive green 'Gustav V.' together with 5 öre green 'Montelius', mixed franking on airmail cover from GÖTEBORG, 29.4.44, addressed to New York USA, intercepted along with british censor double-line handstamps "HELD BY BRITISH CENS. / RELEASED JAN 1946" resp. "RELEASED (below wavy lines)", british censor tape and red single-line handstamp "CONDEMNED", finally as indicated by the lack of receiver postmarks returned to sender. Scarce censored mail!
