1859, two letters from ALCANO addressed to Palermo resp. Marsala. the first, franked with a 2 grana, third plate, dark greenish blue (Sassone 8b, cert. E.Diena), tied by "Sicilian Doorframe" with rare brown oval framed ALCAMO alongside (Sassone 15.000 for this cancel, letter with tears and creases), the other franked with 2 grano, second plate, cobalt blue (Sassone 7b, signed Sorani, Em. Diena. Raybaudi), tied by "Sicilian Doorframe" with weak red oval framed ALCAMO alongside. A nice pair of this are cancel.
