1861 'Washington' 24c. grey and 3c. rose used on 1866 cover from New York to the Netherlands via Liverpool & London, tied by Maltese Cross-like fancy cancel, with weak strike of "N.Y. Br. Pkt. PAID/DEC/21" c.d.s. and London '5 Jan 67' transit c.d.s. both in red on front, and on the reverse with indistinct arrival c.d.s. in red. Cover with traces of use and ageing but still good and scarce.
