1854-58 India used Singapore: 1854 typographed 2a. green cancelled "B/172", and two entire letters from Singapore to Calcutta franked 1a. (1857) and 1a. pair (1858) both tied by "B/172", the early one with Calcutta ship letter arrival datestamp on back, the second letter with red Singapore, Madras (transit) and G.P.O. (Calcutta) datestamps on the reverse. All three items with faults (short tear into 2a., letters with paper faults and toned) but still a good trio.
