1869 East India 6a.8p. slate used along with two singles 1a. pale brown on cover from Mhow to Prestonpans, Scotland via Bombay and Marseilles, tied by indistinct numeral h/s, with red "MHOW/25 (FE)/69" despatch cds, Bombay transit cds and Prestonpans '22 March 69' arrival cds on back, red boxed "INDIA PAID" on front, fine. A scarce use of the 6a.8p. stamp on cover.
