This is an original embossed Panzerschiff Deutschland photo album, 15x11 inches, filled with ca 281 pictures (mostly annotated reverse) of the crew as well as dozens of photos of visiting dignitaries: (Hitler x8, Goering x3, Goebbels x3, Himmler, Hess x3, von Mackensen x2, Reichstatthalter Karl Kaufmann, various other Waffen SS accompanying, etc). In addition, there are pictures from the funerals of seamen killed in the attack while the ship lay off the coast of Ibiza, supporting the Condor Legion which was in turn supporting Franco's regime in the Spanish Civil War. The bulk of the pictures deal with the crew's life, places they visited, parades, cleaning, assemblies before the guns, one lone crew member's burial at sea, officers (including Doenitz, several of Captain Fischel,others), the ship at sea, etc.
For this lot an additional 7% for Import Expenses (Taxes) will be charged.
