1844 Entire letter from Bombay to London, dated inside '19th July 1844', endorsed "P. Steamer" but deleted and carried privately (by vessel?) to Southampton, blue handstamp "T.P./SOUTHAMPTON" applied and franked by LEFT HAND marginal single of Great Britain 1d. red-brown on bluish paper, lettered N-A, (Plate 43?), tied by numeral "72", London '11 Sep 44' arrival d/s in red on the reverse. Letter with folds, one affecting the GB adhesive, otherwise fine. ÷ 1844 Brief von Bombay nach London, innen datiert '19. Juli 1844', mit gestrichenem Vermerk "P. Steamer" und evtl. privat (per Schiff?) nach Southampton transportiert, blauer Handstempel "T.P./SOUTHAMPTON" und frankiert mit linkem berührtem Randstück der Queen Victoria 1d. rotbraun auf bläulichem Papier, mit Buchstaben NA (Platte 43?) aus der Huth-Korrespondenz mit Registraturbug durch die Marke, mit Nummernstempel "72" London '11 Sep 44' und rotem Ankunftstempel.
