1743-1889 "CORREOS CERTIFICADO - REGISTERED MAIL": The famous and specialized 'Almany' collection of about 180 registered covers and letters from Spain, few from Bogota, Colombia and Lima, Peru. This extraordinary top collection has received many international awards. Now, with a few changes and additional material, it contains a lot of rare and unique highlights as an important pre-philatelic part including registered letters like 1812 from Lima, 1826 'Certificación' in m/s on letter from Rioja, letters from Galicia (1840's) etc., Spanish franked and registered covers including highlights like first issue 5 reales on part Sevilla cover, a heavy weight (3 ounzes) cover from Logroño franked 1851 5r. block of four and single (unique), 1862/1864 two issues mixed frankings, 1865 registered cover Madrid-London franked by 200 examples of 2 reales (largest known franking), also incoming registered mail (as from Russia and other countries) with Spanish adhesives, good destinations, and many interesting, nice and/or rare covers and letters more.
