1882: 5 £ orange on white paper, vertical pair "AM-AN", each stamp centrally cancelled by oval datestamp «REGISTERED THREADNEEDLE St. B.O.E.C. 18 AP 99», with perfect perforation, very light vertical crease, otherwise in fresh and perfect preservation. The upper stamp (AM) shows plate flaw "Line over top right 'I' square broken" and "Line under 'M' square thin and broken". The lower stamp (AN) is without the major frame breaks showing up in final (late) printings. Signed "A.D." (Alberto Diena) and photo certificate Karl-Albert Louis.
