Pre-stamp envelope written from Geneva dated '19th Oct 37' addressed to England cancelled by hand-struck 'Geneve/19 8bre 1837' with boxed 'Suisse/Par/Ferney' in red and 'A.E./J.F.' transit frontier hand-stamp on face, London arrival '24 Oct' and forwarded to Southend with m/s 'Gone From Southend' and returned to Hyde Park with 'Roohford/Pennypost' on reverse and boxed 'No 1' and circular 'Postage To London Not Paid', rated '2/4' in m/s. Very interesting rate cover.
