Envelope (small stains) addressed to France bearing French General Colonies 'Type Sage' Yvert 31, 3x 5c green two on green paper, one on green-yellow paper (two stamps poor cut) tied by octagonal 'Corr. D. Armees/Goree' date stamp in blue '27 Avril 80', endorsed 'Correspondance Militaire/Le Captain de Inf de Marine' on reverse, routed via Dakar, sent on the French paquebot "Orenoque" with octagonal 'Col Fr. Paq. Fr. J No 3' on reverse (Salles 1088) and 'Paris/Etranger' receiver in blue '8th May'. Scarce item paying the 15c military mail tariff from Goree, Senegal.
