1852 Cover from the Ottoman Consulate in Manchester, England addressed to "His Excellency Aali pocho, foreign Minister of the Ottoman Empire, Constantinople" bearing Manchester '26 July 1852' despatch cds, "PD" in oval, charge mark "2/6" (2s.6d.), "PAID..." London transit dater and Calais transit dater all in red on face, sender's wax seal in red and arrival dater on the reverse. A scarce cover to Ali Pasha, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
