1919, CRASH MAIL, two incoming crash mail covers from GB via USA where both were heavily damaged by a fire in a postal railroadcar at Monroe (Wash.) on 7 Jan 1919, addressed to WUHU resp. to Sandu Ao/Fujian/South China with arrival marks 28.2. resp. 2.3. Both entires bearing U.S. label "Recovered from train fire at Monroe (Wash). U.S.A." (different types) and both were sealed with official green labels at Shanghai/Chinese P.O.
