1934/2010, AIRMAIL FROM/TO IRELAND, extraordinary collection of apprx. 600 covers/cards, chiefly from WWII/immediate postwar period (only apprx. 80 pieces are after 1950), arranged on written up album pages in nine binders, showing a most impressive range of various frankings, routings, rates, censorings, redirections, etc. Collected to countries of origin/destination with strength in European countries (apprx. 444) and others INDIA (apprx. 155). Also included are some sequences of correspondence: Mrs. Kawerau from Rewahl/Pommerania (today Poland) to her son in Dublin and commercial covers to McCullagh,Son&Co in Dublin. An utmost appealing and surprising collection!
