Kulim/Kedah: 1908, "KULIM 3.8.09" on stationery card surcharged "4 (S.)" to Bergedorf near Hamburg/Germany. Transit "PENANG AU 4 1908". Senders dateline on reverse "Kulim 2/8.09".
The Royal Siamese p.o. in Kulim (Kedah, Malaya) opened in July of 1909. This is the type D of Kulim postmarks with placename in latin alphabet in upper arch section.
