1880/2000 ca., PRIVATE PERFINS OF AUSTRALIA: exceptional and very comprehensive collection with more than 5000 stamps and ca.90 covers with private perfins of Australia, comprising stamps from Australian States & Australian Commonwealth from 'Kangaroo' issue to era QEII.
The collection is sorted by alphabet and presents a vast and impressive array of more than 1000 different perfins. Included is a large and remarkable amount of scarce perfins - the presence of some unique or hitherto unrecorded items should as well be considered.
Enclosed are specialities like double or triple punctures, multiples with mirrored puncture (due to sheet folding), furthermore plenty of valuable stamps, i.a. 1d 'Roo' wmk sideways, ½d bright green KGV with line perforation 14¼ (SG 20a, 3 items), numerous 2s and 5s 'Roo' stamps etc.
Also included are many interesting and valuable covers, i.a. 5 different postal stationery envelopes from New South Wales, airmail covers, advertising envelopes matching the company's perfin and other useful material.
