1861 (16 DEC) Cover from Athens to Conegliano in Veneto franked by 80 lep. rose-carmine Paris Print in combination with 10 lep. ochre-orange and 20 lep. indigo-blue First Athens Printing. All tied Logende "1" of Athens and red "PED" alongside indicating full payment to final destination "CONEGLIANO 7 JAN" arrival on back (according to the Gregorian calendar). Rate: on reverse 10/15 red crayon rate mkg corresponding to parts of the postage collected by the austrian post office. The 110 lep. rate consists of the greek domestic postage of 20 lep., the sea transport fee of 45 lep. (15 kr.) and the rate for forwanding letter to areas beyond 20 austrian miles from Trieste 45 lep. (15 kr). Very fine example of postal history (Hellas 7b, 12Ia, 13Ib)
