A German 1000 Mark Bond - 1922 - Large Anti-Semite Illustration on the Reverse Side of the Bond
A 1000 Mark German bond which could be used during the years 1922-1923. Since the Jews were held responsible by the Germans for the terrible economic situation in Germany after World War I, on the reverse side of the bond there is an anti-Semite scene of a Jew with a tail and long nose holding envelopes with money in one hand while his other hand is in his pocket. On the background, a sad German clerk writing bonds for Jews!
