Bronze medal (1896 dated) commemorating the 1st Olympics in Athens. Personification of Victory on obverse. Inscription "ΔΙΕΘΝΕΙΣ ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΙ ΑΓΩΝΕΣ ΑΘΗΝΗΣΙ 1896" surrounded by olive branch on reverse. Designed by N. Lytas and W. Pittner. Accompanied by its official case (damaged). Inside large slab by NGC "MS 64 BN / ATHENS OLYMPIC GAMES". Cert number: 3935636-003. (WURZB 410).
