Artistic renditions of the Jewish experience: "Chevrat Shas" (per Hebrew caption loosely translated as "Talmud Study Group") picture postcard with caption in Hebrew & abbreviated Russian (which refers to the place as "Beit HaMidrash"), of sketch by Y. Weinlein; published by Levanon, Moscow (written in Hebrew on front as "Chevrat Levanon") as issue #40 of the series. On reverse, trilingual postal stationary template in Russian, Polish and Hebrew + publisher's name & address in Russian and his logo. Used but not posted: message written in Hebrew, appears to reference the city of TOMSK. Light age stains in places, number written on top left corner of front.
