1854 1s. blue used on small cover from Melbourne to Adelaide, tied by "1/V" in oval of bars, with oval despatch dater "MELBOURNE/.../1854" and circled "G.P.O. ADELAIDE S.A./SE 3/1854" arrival datestamp. The stamp cut square with almost all outer framelines (slightly touched at right), with a corner crease at lower left otherwise fine.
