This extraordinary collection was built over about three decades, and it won several awards at international exhibitions like Great Vermeil (85 Points) at the World Stamp Show Lissabon 2010, and it was enlarged during the last decade. Some of the highlights are: Two pre-philatelic covers with the rare circled "FRANCO MALLORCA" handstamp, several covers to the Archduke of Austria and Prince of Tuscany Ludwig Salvator (alias "Graf Neudorf", see for ex. H.J. Kleinmann's "Erzherzog Ludwig Salvator - Mallorcas ungekönter König") to his country estate "Miramar" or during his research trips around the Mediterranean Sea (to Alexandria, Corfu, Zakynthos or Triest), find rare early registered covers to Brandeis Castle near Prague, also incoming mail as from Thurn & Taxis (only two covers known), printed matter from the U.S.A. to Palma, cover from India etc. Also included are several covers with postmarks of the Balearic Islands Andrais, Alcudia, Felanitx, Llucmayor, Manacor, Soller, Inca, Ciutadella, Mahon and Ibiza, and destinations like Philippines, Cuba, Puerto Rico and others.
