 Lot 1262 - Australia south australia - Status International Public Auction #317 - Stamps and Covers1902-04 QV Thin Postage 3d olive-green, lower marginal vert pr (pos 46 & 56), error value & inscription so greatly shifted that words are transposed resulting in lower stamp error "POSTAGE" omitted, and "THREE PENCE" value below "AUSTRALIA", while upper stamp "THREE PENCE" value below "AUSTRALIA" & "POSTAGE" at base, wmk crown narrow SA, perf 12. Superb fresh MNH, pristine never hinged original gum. ACSC S19c/ca. Bottom stamp is SG 280a cat £4000 for hinged, should be at least double, £8000 MNH, upper stamp is SG 280a(var) footnote cat £950 for M, so should be at least £1900 MNH, so total £9900+.
