Envelope written from Mahe dated '2nd Septembre' addressed to Dijon, France bearing France Type Napoleon Yvert 29a, 20c blue tied by anchor in dotted lozenge with adjacent 'Cor. D. Arm. Lig. T. Paq. Fr No 1' double ring (Salles 2161), boxed 'PD', Paris transit and Dijon receiver. Love item paying the Military Concessionary rate (20 centimes) sent on the paquebot 'Ermime'. A recently discovered pair of covers from M Dominjod the Messageries lmperiales shipping agent in Mahe addressed to his brother in law (Cordier). He acted as transit agent to all the French Cols in the region, Mayotte, Nossi Be, Molzeli etc. Only two covers have been recorded with usage in the Seychelles.
