1916/17: Covers (3) with 1917 1 pa. purple (10 examples), ⅛ pi. yellow in a strip of six, ¼ pi. green in a strip of four, ½ pi red pair, 1 pi. blue pair, 2 pi. claret pair all used on extraordinary cover 1917 registered to Egypt, all tied by DJEDDA / 5" bilingual datestamps in black (Nov 1) with registration cachets in black and framed "PASSED CENSOR / B" in blue. Reverse with small part of reseal Censor and Cairo cds of receipt in black. Sold together with two further covers: a 1916 usage with ¼ pi. green and 1 pi. blue (Gi 1+6) and 1916 usage with rouletted 20 set of four values ⅛ pi. yellow to 1 pi. blue (Gi 7/10) all cancelled "DJEDDDAH / 3" cds's. A few imperfections and condition variable but a scarce group.
