1851/60: 6 d. yellow-green, the lower half of a bisected adhesive, a fine and fresh example with good to large margins in rich colour, boldly tied by 'Bars in Oval' obliterator in black to 1860 envelope from Digby to Bridgetown. Reverse with DIGBY despatch (July 26, 1860) cds as well as arrival cds, both in black. Cover with wear and tear, somewhat defective at the reverse, nevertheless a very scarce usage. Signed Roumet; cert. Bloch/Friedl (1978). Gi = £ 3'250.

1851/60: 3 d. deep blue on bluish, a fine and fresh example with good to enormous margins, boldly tied by 'Bars in Oval' obliterator to cover to Annapolis Royal. Reverse with "YARMOUTH N.S. MY 24 1852" despatch cds in red as well as arrival cds in black of the next day. A fine item, opinion Holcombe (1996).

1851/60: 3 d. bright blue on bluish, a fine and fresh example with good to large margins, lightly tied by 'Bars in Oval' obliterator to envelope from North-Sydney to Antigonish, "Ship Letter" handstamp alongside. Reverse with "NORTH-SYDNEY OB MY 29 1857" despatch cds as well as arrival cds in black (June 2, 1857). Vertical fold, nevertheless a fine Shipmail item within Nova Scotia.

Mailboat Obliterations / Atlantic Packets 1860/63: Nova Scotia 5 c. blue on blued and 12½ c. black used 1867 cover from Halifax to a Captain of a Frigate at Cherbourg, France; each tied by Mailboat "A95" obliterator ("Mr. Nash, Marine Packet Service, Atlantic Line") and mailed on the Cunard Line 'Africa' with circular 'PD' and 'London / Paid' cds of transit (June 17) in red and thence via Calais to destination (June 18).
